Model Database

  • BioModels Database This database is a repository of peer-reviewed, published, computational models. These mathematical models are primarily from the field of systems biology, but more generally are those of biological interest.

  • Brain Operation DataBase (BODB) BODB is a tool for modelers and experimentalists to document computational models of the brain and their linkages to summaries of experimental data. Models can be compared in terms of these relations, and experimental data summaries can be visualized in a variety of ways. Groups of users can build collaboratory workspaces which allow them to share groups of models and data and work together to develop new models.

  • CoCoMac (Collations of Connectivity data on the Macaque brain) This database is an approach to produce a systematic record of the known wiring of the primate brain. The main database contains details of hundreds of tracing studies in their original descriptions. Further data are continuously added.

  • GENESIS neural database A database of models generated by GENESIS.

  • ModelDB The database provides an accessible location for storing and efficiently retrieving computational neuroscience models.

  • NeuroMorpho NeuroMorpho.Org is a centrally curated inventory of digitally reconstructed neurons associated with peer-reviewed publications. It contains contributions from over 50 laboratories worldwide and is continuously updated as new morphological reconstructions
    are collected, published, and shared.

  • Open Source Brain Open Source Brain is an initiative to encourage greater sharing and collaborative development of models in computational neuroscience. The repository contains a number of cell and network models from multiple brain regions and species, all of which reside in open source repositories. Conversion of models to open, cross simulator formats like NeuroML and PyNN is actively supported.

  • SenseLab Senselab is a long term project to build integrated, multidisciplinary models of neurons and neural systems. The project at present involves a set of eight interrelated databases, containing data on membrane properties of neurons and neuron compartments, with
the aim of aiding neuroscientists to integrate this data into computational models of neurons and neuronal microcircuits.

  • Wormatlas A database of the behavioral and structural anatomy of the C.elegans.
